WaterAid Australia

WaterAid is an international charity dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people. These most basic services are essential to life, without them, vulnerable communities are trapped in the stranglehold of disease and poverty caused by living without safe water and sanitation.

The decision to support WaterAid was not driven by the MWH Australian business, but was born from its staff. Our staff were looking for an opportunity to feel part of a global effort that works together and provides communities with an improved standard of living. WaterAid has provided an avenue for staff to return their current water knowledge and support to developing communities where water is a precious resource and the children of some of these communities suffer significantly due to the lack of safe potable water.
